The city of Halle (Saale) is located in the south of the Federal State of Saxony-Anhalt. The municipality is divided into the North, East, South, West and Central quarters. In terms of population, it is the largest city in Saxony-Anhalt with 240,000 citizens. Out of a total area of 135.02 km², 7,000 hectares alone consist of expanses of water and green areas.

The good economic situation can be attributed in its origins to the abundance of mineral resources, primarily due to the occurrence of lignite, clay, hard coal and gravel. Paul-Singers-Strasse 67 is located between the old town and the Star-Park Halle. In the north and east, the quarter is bounded by the city limits, in the south by the post-mining landscape, and in the west by the railway facilities. The eastern part of Halle has a population of over 15,000. Its proximity to Paul-Singers-Strasse is characterised by parks and green spaces as well as direct access to public transport, making it an attractive residential area. The historic old town is only 7 km away by car or public transport. In the immediate vicinity there are shopping facilities provided by discounters and bakeries, day-care centres, parks and doctors.
