Macro-location

Praunheimer Landstraße is a connecting road leading to the districts of Praunheim and Hausen in the city of Frankfurt am Main in the federal state of Hesse. The district of Praunheim has a population of over 16,000 and has been recognised as an official district of the municipality of Frankfurt am Main since 1910. It borders onto districts such as Hausen, Westhausen, Ginnheimt, Heddernheim, Rödelheim and Niederursel. Located in the northwest, the district is just 6 km from Frankfurt city centre. Properties stretch along the side streets of Praunheimer Landstraße and offer residential opportunities in a quiet location.

Idyllic countryside encircles the cityscape

Frankfurt’s Green Belt, which consists of idyllic countryside and avenues, extends around the city of Frankfurt am Main. It is located on the north bank of the Nidda and is centrally accessible from Praunheimer Landstraße in every direction thanks to the extensive infrastructure. Niddatal Park is the second largest green space in the city of Frankfurt am Main. The city park is characterised by a peaceful natural landscape and has playgrounds and sports facilities. The paths are suitable for hiking, cycling, jogging and going for a walk. Nidda Park is about a 10-minute walk from Praunheimer Landstraße.

An optimum infrastructure with a large number of education facilities

Mercedes-Benz AG has a sales and service centre for cars, vans, transporters and trucks, which is only about 2 km away from Praunheim Bridge. The Swedish-Swiss energy and automation technology group ABB Ltd. is also located in the district and is about 3 km from Praunheim Bridge. Federal Autobahn 66, which leads to Wiesbaden, Hanau and Fulda, is directly connected via the Praunheim exit. The A5 leads to the German-Swiss border. The underground lines U6 and U7 can be reached via Heerstraße station and Hausen station. Educational services at Elbefeldschule primary school, which is located at Praunheimer Hohl 4, are linked to a children’s day-care centre in the immediate vicinity. Liebigschule public grammar school provides secondary schooling. In addition, there are special educational facilities such as the French school Lycee Victor Hugo, the Hermann-Luppe school for children with learning difficulties and the State Vocational School for the automotive industry.
