Property location


The town of Karben is located in the Wetterau district of West Hesse. Approx. 15 kilometres from the metropolitan city of Frankfurt am Main, the town is part of the extended commuter belt of Frankfurt am Main. Karben has a population of about 22,500.

The Nidda river flows through several parts of the town.

Situated between the Taunus and Vogelsberg mountains, the Friedberg autobahn junctions and the Preungesheimer interchange provide good connections.

In addition, there is a very good connection to the city buses with an extended bus network (three bus routes). This is extended by a taxi-bus service in the evening hours. Commuter traffic to the city is optimised with night bus and express bus services.

The centre of Frankfurt am Main is about 20 kilometres away. The city of Frankfurt am Main offers many jobs in the financial sector. The city is home to the European Central Bank and has a population of more than 760,000, making it the fifth largest city in Germany. The economic performance of the metropolitan region is responsible for about 25 percent of Hesse’s economic output and is one of the strongest regions in the entire country in terms of trade and industry. The airport provides jobs for over 80,000 people.



Klein-Karbener Straße 39, 41 in Karben is situated in a quiet area. A bakery, a playground and a farm shop can be found in the district of Rendel and are no more than a ten minute walk away.

Klein-Karben is only two kilometres away. There are several shops in the small village such as a REWE and an ALDI. There are also restaurants, an ice cream parlour and a DIY store.

Groß-Karben railway station is four kilometres away and offers good connections to the city centre of Frankfurt am Main.

There are also two schools about three kilometres away in Groß-Karben, which can be reached in about ten minutes by bicycle or five minutes by car.

The village also has an indoor swimming pool with a sauna and a skate park.

The village of Niederdorfelden, about three kilometres to the south, has numerous shopping facilities, a pharmacy, a restaurant, a hairdresser and a daycare centre.
