Rosenau

In idyllischer Lage an der Iller und doch zentrumsnah befindet sich das denkmalgeschützte Objekt Rosenau. Hier befand sich einst der Rosengarten eines Patrizierschlösschens, später liesen sich dort eine Spinnerei sowie eine Weberei nieder. Nun werden die geschichtsträchtigen Mauern dieses Wohn- und Geschäftsgebäude kernsaniert. Neben zahlreichen Etagen- und Maisonettewohnungen entsteht hier auf 430m² der neue Hauptsitz der VIVAT Unternehmen.

The independent city of Kempten is located in the heart of the Allgäu region in Germany. Furthermore, there is a clinic, a voluntary fire brigade as well as nine general schools, a university and several vocational schools. Retail trade and media are among the most important industries in the city. Kempten is considered one of the cities with the highest concentration of shopping centres. Numerous well-known department stores are located in the town, including C&A and Quelle. In the media sector, Allgäu newspaper publishing house, the local television station TV Allgäu and the radio station RSA are located in the city. In addition, various service and industrial companies are located here.

Due to the direct proximity to the Füssener Strasse main road, these can be reached both by car and on foot. The Engelhalde Landscape Park is located about 500 metres from the Rosenau properties. The park includes a 6,000 sqm pond, numerous footpaths, two children's playgrounds, a Kneipp facility, an outdoor climbing facility and a wetland biotope. Rotschlössle is home to the city district's own library.
