Property location

Macro-location

The community of Ückeritz is located on the Baltic Sea island of Usedom in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and has a population of about 1,000. The Baltic resort is located directly on the Achterwasser lagoon between Koserow and Heringsdorf and was part of the Usedom-Mitte district until 2005. The most densely wooded seaside resort on Usedom lies on a narrow strip and has a natural and authentic character. The former fishing and farming village is now an artists' colony and a place of retreat. The unique environment attracts a large number of tourists all year round. The surrounding countryside consisting of forests, meadows, glorious beaches and an alternating pattern of beaches and cliffs has a unique nature.

Places of interest include the Usedom rock garden, the seven kilometre long beach, the promenade area and the Ückeritz ropes course. The historical village centre as well as the cinema, cafés and restaurants are further attractions in the community. Ückeritz's event arena, the Konzertmuschel, is a popular meeting place. Events regularly take place on the stage.

In terms of infrastructure, the community is located directly on the B 111 and is easily accessible by car or bicycle from the surrounding seaside resorts. The Usedom Bad- und Bäderbahn operates as a regional train on the entire island and also has its own stop in Ückeritz.

Micro-location

Am Kurplatz 20a is located in a quiet side street of the amber resort of Ückeritz on Usedom. The location is just under 1.2 kilometres from the beautiful sandy beach and has many advantages. The distance to the nearest bus stop is approx. 200 metres on foot, and it can therefore be reached in less than five minutes. The railway station with a direct connection to the regional rail network is also a five minute walk away.

The shopping facilities in the village, such as the ALDI, are about 500 metres away. The cafés, restaurants and hotels in the community are located within a maximum radius of one kilometre and can also be reached on foot.

There is a regional school in the village which can be reached on foot or by bicycle in about three to five minutes.

Attractions by the beach such as the lighthouse, the beach cafés, the playground or the crazy golf course are within a 20 minute walk. As an alternative, the distance of approx. 1.5 kilometres can also be covered by bus.

The Museum of Illusions and Bouncy Castle Land are also located directly at the bus stop or can be reached on foot in less than ten minutes with a distance of about 600 metres.

There is also a cinema and a hairdressing salon in Ückeritz in the direct vicinity of Am Kurplatz 20a. The forests between the sea and the community are the perfect place for a walk.
