Max-Beckmann-Straße

Project description

The multi-storey, listed residential building in Leipzig's Max-Beckmann-Strasse was built in 1887 in the style of austere historicism. It captivates with an ornamental façade and has all the advantages of a central residential location. However, years of neglect caused the property's charm to fade.

Since the conversion, the living space has been expanded to 14 flats and the furnishings in all living spaces have been brought up to an upscale standard.

Property location

Macro-location

Leipzig is not only the largest city in Saxony in terms of area but also in terms of population. Moreover, the population growth has been stronger than in all other major German cities for many years, which illustrates Leipzig's popularity. The city is regarded as one of the most modern locations for trade and services in all of Germany. In terms of logistics, Leipzig also ranks highly due to its favourable location and the short distance to Berlin.

Taken as a whole, the Central German Metropolitan Region is the most important business location in the east. The engineering, automotive and biotechnology sectors have proven to be particularly important. Apart from international corporations, small and medium-sized companies form the primary economic backbone.

Incidentally, anyone who is about to enter the world of work has outstanding educational opportunities here. More than 30 colleges and 10 universities are attracting an increasing number of talented young people to the region.

Micro-location

Zentrum-West district: You can fully experience life in the big city in this district - with everything that goes with it. As the name suggests, you live in a central location and therefore have easy access to public facilities, doctors or shopping arcades. A school, a nursery school and a hospital are in the immediate vicinity and are only a few hundred metres away from the property. A car is therefore not absolutely necessary, as most errands can be completed on foot. The district is about 3.5 kilometres from the city centre.
